Pursuing the case* of Lebanon's senior Shia cleric Imam Moussa Sadr is one of the main topics of the international Session on the Islamic Awakening, supreme Leader's advisor for international affairs said here on Tuesday.
Speaking to reporters, Ali-Akbar Velayati described: (...).
“At first some 500 scholars and intellectuals from 80 world countries were invited to participate in the event, but the figure rose to 600 due to huge enthusiasm of foreign personalities especially from Europe and America,” he said.
The two-day 'Session on the Islamic Awakening' will begin work in Tehran on September 17.
Velayati is the secretary-general of the gathering.
